A human resources professional, Helga began her career in recruitment and human resources consulting more than twenty five years ago.

With a broad-based background in HR services, Helga's professional history includes assisting clients from student level to senior executives, across all careers and business sectors – including top ten consulting firms, global FTSE 100 companies, major banks and high street retailers - through to law firms and SMEs.

A highly experienced consultant, coach and facilitator, Helga has contributed to careers magazines and national media, including The Guardian 'CV Clinic' and the Daily Mail.l

As part of her MBA, Helga undertook in-depth research into outplacement consultancy to identify people´s needs and preference 

Totally committed to assisting individuals realise their goals, Helga has managed career outplacement centres, and provided job-search coaching, careers counselling and CV Resume writing services to many thousands of people effected by redundancy.

With a career in training provision spanning 25 years, Ann has knowledge and experience of all government training schemes, past and present, established for both commerce and industry.

Through this experience, Ann has acquired skills in the identification of training needs, the design and delivery of training seminars and careers counselling.

Ann has a special interest in, and holds a Level A qualification in Psychometric Testing.

The links Ann has developed during her career are invaluable in providing knowledge, information and guidance to clients wishing to make informed career choices

With more than 25 years in retail management at senior level, Ewart has successfully combined this experience with a genuine enthusiasm for encouraging people to realise their own potential.

Ewart understands how the business world operates and the pressures that exist in that environment.

Outplacement and training experience includes blue chip companies - Motorola, EMI, Zarlink, Northern Foods, Britannia Zinc Ltd and Nissan.

Ewart uses one-to-one counselling and group workshops to help rebuild personal confidence and re-motivate people, and in so doing redirect and refocus their careers. In this way they have rediscovered a new inspiration and enthusiasm.

An experienced counsellor, facilitator and trainer, Christine´s career has focused on the design and delivery of learning events that are value-driven and which balance client objectives and individuals' needs.

During the past few years, she has worked as a Consultant in London, Greece and Thailand – helping to run over 200 special interest courses, providing participants with the opportunity to develop interpersonal and practical skills and interests.

David is experienced in coaching and mentoring people, helping them to decide what they want to do next and supporting the achievement of their objectives - whether this is getting started in a new job, beginning a fresh career or starting a new business.

Since joining Business Link and the Chamber of Commerce, David has developed a strong interest in small enterprise management and entrepreneurial activity, and has assisted in the set-up, launch and development of new businesses. Areas of particular expertise include formulating business plans, securing funding, sales, contract negotiation and customer relationship development.

David´s background also includes recruitment consultancy, in particular the supply of mechanical and electrical engineers to client companies in the U.S., UK and Mexico – and has experience in helping both employers and job seekers - smoothing the way through each stage of the candidate / job search process.
