David is experienced in coaching and mentoring people, helping them to decide what they want to do next and supporting the achievement of their objectives - whether this is getting started in a new job, beginning a fresh career or starting a new business.
Since joining Business Link and the Chamber of Commerce, David has developed a strong interest in small enterprise management and entrepreneurial activity, and has assisted in the set-up, launch and development of new businesses. Areas of particular expertise include formulating business plans, securing funding, sales, contract negotiation and customer relationship development.
David´s background also includes recruitment consultancy, in particular the supply of mechanical and electrical engineers to client companies in the U.S., UK and Mexico – and has experience in helping both employers and job seekers - smoothing the way through each stage of the candidate / job search process.
